Now it’s time to brainstorm for my first crack at Adobe Audition. I am excited to get into this project. It is just something I feel will be a cool experience for everyone and really get to know how each other thinks. Like nobody’s soundscape is going to be the same. There are going to be so many different soundscapes and I am going to have a fun time interpreting all of them. For my sounds, I simply decided to record rather simple yet uncommon sounds such as grabbing and eating popcorn, rubbing my fingers on a bed, opening and eating candy out of a bag, typing whatever I was typing, etc. So I feel like I will have to follow that simple yet uncommon theme in my soundscape. Something like a day in the life of the simple yet uncommon. I am hoping I can find some other sounds in the folder that will match this theme. If I can’t find enough sounds then I will simply have to create something titled “Life of the Unknown Soul”. Sounds eerie and sad but I promise it’s not. The name just sounds cool and rolls off the tongue well in my opinion. Definitely going to be a change of pace from my zine project which I love. Going to be stepping into the unknown for this project with a new system but with prior audio mixing and editing experience, I should be able to create something rather auditorily appealing to the class. I’m reading to get into the studio and drop my soon-to-be new viral soundcloud track.
